Do Elmira mattresses contain fibreglass?

Do Elmira mattresses contain fibreglass?

What Is Fiberglass?

Fiberglass is considered detrimental in mattresses because, if the cover is removed or damaged, the tiny glass fibers can escape, causing severe skin irritation, itchy rashes, eye irritation, and respiratory issues. It is primarily used as an inexpensive fire barrier, but if released, these particles contaminate homes, including bedding, carpets, and HVAC systems, making them extremely difficult and costly to remove

Does Elmira Mattresses Contain Fiberglass?

No, the Elmira snow mattress and Elmira Hybrid Mattress do not contain fibreglass.

All Elmira mattresses are CertiPUR-US certified, meaning the entire mattresses, inside and out, are safe for all members of your household, including infants and the elderly.

Our mattresses do not contain harmful chemicals often found in cheap foam products. You can rest easy knowing we've ensured our mattresses are free from formaldehyde, phthalates, flame retardants, and heavy metals; it's also certified for extremely low VOC (volatile organic compound) emissions for indoor air quality (less than 0.5 parts per million).

CertiPUR-US® is a third-party non-profit organization that performs independent lab testing to verify foam is compliant with their specifications for consumer safety. For more information, visit http://certipur.us.
